FAQs

Who has to pay the fines:
  1. Anyone parked in a non-metered area past the time limit.
  2. Anyone parking in metered areas past the time limit for that are or anyone who has allowed the meter to expire.
  3. Anyone parking in “by permit only” areas without a permit.
  4. Unlawful parking is enforced by the DBPD 24/7 and SP Plus 7 days a week 9-11.
What is Unlawful Parking?
Examples:
  1. Prohibited by official signage
  2. Yellow curbs
  3. Fire lanes
  4. Handicap areas without a handicap permit
  5. Parking in the wrong direction
  6. Parking on the sidewalk

I received a fine. Who do I pay?
Parking fines can be paid in person at the SP+ Parking Office, 433 Silver Beach Ave, Suite 101 Daytona Beach, FL 32118, or simply use the convenient orange envelope you’ll find under your windshield wiper blade.

Fines are paid within 10 business days of issuance.
